O for a muse of fire, that would ascend
The brightest heaven of invention.
A kingdom for a stage, princes to act,
And monarchs to behold the swelling scene!
O, pardon! since a crooked figure may
Attest in little place a million;
And let us, ciphers to this great accompt,
On your imaginary forces work.
Admit me Chorus to this history;
Who prologue-like your humble patience pray,
Gently to hear, kindly to judge, our play.
Welcome to Minos!
We will experiment a great deal with the style of this campaign. I hope it is memorable, and not just memorably bad when those experiments fall flat. Characters will drive the story, and the adventures will come from the pursuit of those characters’ goals. Not all characters will achieve their goals, and alas many may meet their ends too soon, but that does not mean their story was not worth telling.
